School lunch information

The first graders eat lunch from 11:15-11:35. They then go to recess from 11:35-12:15.
All lunch options include the main entree, a fruit, a vegetable, and a milk. We instruct the students to take all of the elements of their lunch and encourage them to try something new. Please take a look at the lunch menu and talk with your child about what choice he/she will make each day. The lunch menu, and other meal information, can be found here: Lunch Menus Lunch Prices: $2.50 Milk: $0.50 Breakfast: $1.25 Breakfast is available to all students every morning. Your child may bring his/her breakfast to the classroom to eat. We ask that they arrive at the earliest entrance bell so that they can finish their breakfast before the tardy bell rings and be ready for learning at that time. lunch accounts:Every child has a lunch charge account attached to their student identification number. You may put money into their account by sending in cash or a check, or pre-pay online. (https://mypaymentsplus.com/) There are 2 different accounts that you can deposit money into. Please read the letter below which describes these two accounts.

Darby creek PTO
DCE PTO plays a large role in the life of the school. We raise around $30,000 every year to fund new technology, improvements to the school, field trips, and social and wellness events.
We would love to see you at PTO meetings this year: Second Monday of each month (except December), 7pm, DCE Media Center (AKA Library). I will look forward to seeing you there.
